MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT

My favourite restaurant is Tepanyaki. It's a Japanese restaurant from a big American company, you can find this type of restaurants all over the United States and Europe. This restaurant offers a wide variety of Japanese food, like fish, meat and fruit.
The building left me speechless the first time I saw it because we don't usually see this type of restaurants on our country. Usually our restaurants have another style, the western world style.
But what really calls my attention is the combination (inside the restaurant) between family and romantic atmosphere, and a really funny environment.
Not only you can eat here, but also you can spend a great cool tiem. There, people play with cutlery, basket the food in your mouth, eggs...There are funny cooks and service that are making jokes all time, everything is very dynamic. You can see the kitchen, cooks and food all time when you are inside the restaurant, because they are in an opened workplace.
From my point of view, it's a good restaurant that combines lots of different things: good atmosphere, better food, funny people... It is a new way and style of eating and going to the restaurant. Because it's cheaperand you can taste the difference between our ordinary food. You have to try it !!

BLIND DATES

Nowadays, a lot of people don't know the danger of blind dates.
In the last years, specially the net makes the date easier and quicker but... are you sure that the other person behind the screen is the right person?

On the one hand, blind dates have developed an imaginary world where you can find a lot of people quickly and you have more possibilities to find the perfect person. You're more relaxed an you have more privacy.

On the other hand, you are not sure at all about you loving partner. Certainly on the net there are lots of cool boys, girls, men or women, but there are always liers too. Your privacy can be attempted when you give information to the strangers, watch out !!

In conclusion, you must be sure with who are you chatting and meeting. Of course you can find a good man or a good woman on the net, but you can also find a lier or a hacker. From my point of view, you are playing an unknown game.

Article: new gadget

Nowadays, we have in our shops many new gadgets and very useful electronic objects. One of this new gadgets is the e-book or e-learnt. This device is very practical for reading many books without having pages or weight. In an e-book you can introduce many books and save them in e-book's ram memory. E-book uses touch's tecnology, with a little screen that goes on by your hands and your touch. Another gadget that we can find in our shops wich is very useful is the I-pad, developed by Apple's store, a new company that is wining wites in the Spanish sale's ranking. This score is betting for new tecnologies and for the undeveloped countries' market (like China and other countries near the Pacífic sea). It's proved that Spanish people want, nowadays, cheap gadgets and useful devices becouse they want to save money too (on tecnologies' things). Finally, we can certainly say that users prefer new gadgets like e-book than new computers or laptops, more expensive devices.

Brave Heart

Braveheart is an extraordinary film, that search patriot's spirit, and which removes your mind.

Tis is a film with an interesting plot and it isn't bloody at all.

Although the film has a long duration, in any moment you feel bored because the action is happening all the time.

The film is about an Scottish noble on the middle age (Mel Gibson). He has lots of problems with the English's invasors, who steps him.

On the high lands in Scotland, Brave Heart generates an important revolution to recuperate the lost fields and to fight for his country: Scotland, and with a happy ending.

Braveheart is a relly passion film with a wonderful protagonist: Mel Gibson, who has a big experience in Hollywood.
I enjoyed this flim and I think that history lovers should watch it, and all people who loves his country.

BENEDICT XVI CAME TO BARCELONA

It was Saturday 6th of October’s night when the Pope arrived to Barcelona city in Catalonia. He came from Santiago of Compostela and he was very tired but excited for the next morning. On Sunday morning, a grey and a little rainy day, without a lot of Sun, he started his route which finished at Sagrada Familia’s monument. Benedict XVI’s car was going down the street and he was connecting with all the believers who were waiting him wearing normal clothes and with flags, suddenly he saw many people around the street’s barriers shouting and complaining very loud about Pope’s travel. These people carried some posters that offended and other objects to complain, like people kissing on the mouth… After a few minutes, policemen pushed them to other places. It was an embarrassing accident that didn’t surprise a lot of people but it really was remarkable because it changed, a little, the exceptional day. I could perceive that not everyone was excited for this event (the dedication of Gaudi’s monument). When the mass started, many religious people were in, in front of the Sagrada Família or in front of TV. The performance was really great for all the Catalans.

The bowhead whale

The bowhead whale is an endangered species and hunting this animal is prohibited by international law. Overfishing, especially in the nineteenth century drastically reduced the populations of whales. Since it was declared a protected species, their populations have increased a little, the rate of 3 % per year. Environmental factors such as climate change and water pollution now threaten this species. Human activities (from hunting practiced by indigenous people to feed themselves and preserve their traditions, to the farms offshore oil and gas), continue to pose challenges to the survival of these whales.

The bowhead whale (Balaena mysticetus) is a stocky dark-colored whale without a dorsal fin and it can grow to 20 meters in length. It lives entirely in fertile Arctic and sub-Arctic waters, unlike other whales that migrate to feed or reproduce. It is also known as Greenland right whale or Arctic whale. The bowhead is perhaps the longest-living mammal, and has the largest mouth of any animal.
The bowhead was an early whaling target. Its population was severely reduced before a 1966 moratorium. The population is estimated to be over 24,900 worldwide, down from an estimated 50,000 before whaling.
Its only predators are humans and the orca. On rare occasions, the bowheads are also attacked by sea lions.


So we can say that the bowhead whale is a peaceful and noble animal, with ferocious predators such as orca. But the most terrible enemy to the whale was the human being. Man has hunted disproportionately and often cruelly, has reduced the number of these individuals so far than the bowhead whale is in serious danger of extinction.
